Penalties and suspension
Missed targets can bring Environmental Compensation, suspension or cancellation, and regulatory action.
For producers, OEMs, brand owners and importers
Ecoreco is a CPCB-registered e-waste recycler. We calculate your target, collect and recycle e-waste on your behalf, transfer the EPR certificates and support your annual return filing.
Under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, producers, importers and brand owners placing electrical and electronic equipment on the Indian market have an annual recycling target. Your annual return needs EPR certificates from a registered recycler.
Missed targets can bring Environmental Compensation, suspension or cancellation, and regulatory action.
70% of your e-waste generation in FY 2026–27. 80% from FY 2027–28.
Under-reporting brings risk. Over-reporting can mean paying for certificates you did not need.
